Our first release of this wine, four years in the making! In the exceptional 2021 vintage, we decided to bring together two barrels that stood out above the rest. The first barrel is Pommard from Bieze Vineyard, a brand new barrel made from tight grained, center cut wood. This brings a dynamic structure of dark fruit, forest floor, fine grained plush tannins, and muscle. The second barrel , also Pommard, is from our family vineyard Menefee. This wine brings elegance and sheen, herbes de Provence, eucalyptus, bright pie cherry fruit.

We kept this wine in barrel for a bit longer than our other wines to make sure the tanins had a beautiful polish to them. Then we decided to hold onto the wine in bottle for even longer. We wanted to do all the work, so that all you have to do is open and enjoy! This is a truly fancy wine, ready to enjoy with fancy friends and family!
