2023 Tower Pinot Noir
The 2023 vintage draws fruit from Menefee, our family vineyard, Lazy River Vineyard, and Bieze Vineyard, nestled right above Seven Springs. Each site contributes unique characteristics, building upon each other. Lazy River brings lushness and body. Structured tannins and blue fruit come from the Eola Amity Hills. Finally, Menefee brings elegance, vibrancy, earthiness and a velvet robe to wrap everything together.
The aromatics are deeply vibrant. Big fruit bursts out of the glass, macerated cherries, bursting raspberries rolled in powdered sugar followed by sweet baking spice, and warm forest floor. The lush mouthfeel mimics the nose, with ripe black cherry and robust red fruit wrapped together in silky tannins. Brighter than the previous, this wine still packs a punch.

Vintners often overuse certain keywords to describe their wines. We are probably guilty too. But this wine demands specific terms of adornment. Elegant, playful yet coy. A keeper, a drinker. A convincing argument for the doubtful.
